Warranty

The Seller warrants that for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, (the Warranty Period), the Goods will:

- conform in all material respects to their description and to any applicable Specification;

- be free from material defects in design, material and workmanship;

  - be of satisfactory quality within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act 1979, as amended.

The Seller will, at its option replace or repair the defective Goods, provided that  the Buyer submits to the Seller during the Warranty Period a returns requestby the Seller on discovery that some or all of the goods do not comply some or all of the Warranty given. 

The Buyer will raise a ticket via support@gioteck.com or via our support page www.gioteck.com/support and the Seller will endeveour to provide support and/or warranty replacements through this channel.

The Buyer may, at the sole disection be required to provide a valid proof of purchase, receipt, statement or other evidence of purchase within the Warranty Period.

 

The Seller will explicitly exclude sales via channels which deal with second hand, used or refurbished goods such as Facebook marketplace and eBay where it is not possible to guarentee a "new" product is sold and is free from defect upon the initial sale.

 

Whilst the Seller will attempt replace any defective goods on a hassle free basis, the Buyer will give the Seller a reasonable opportunity to examine the defective Goods if requested.

The Buyer may be asked to return the defective Goods to the Seller to be examined or repaired.

 

Where such failure arises by reason of fair wear and tear, could be expected to arise in the normal course of use of the Goods, wilful damage, negligence, or abnormal working conditions; to the extent caused by the Buyer's failure to comply with the Seller's instructions as to: (i) storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Goods, or (ii) good practice in relation to the storage, installation, commissioning, use or maintenance of the Goods; to the extent caused by the Seller following any design or specification or requirement of the Buyer in relation to the Goods; or where the Buyer repairs or alters any Goods without the Seller's prior written agreement; The Seller gives no warranty in relation to the goods.
