Connection Issues

Setting Up the Charging Stand

  • Connect the USB-C connector of the charge cable to the charging stand, and connect the other end to an available USB type-A port on the PS5
  • Place the wireless controller on the charging stand
  • Align the charging terminals on the controller with the charging connector on the stand
  • Check the LED for status; the LED will light orange while charging and blue when fully charged

Charging Other Devices

  • The charging stand has a 2nd USB port on the rear for charging or powering other accessories
  • Connect with another charge cable (not supplied)

"How-to" Guides

Changing Faceplates

  • Disconnect the charging cable from the charging stand
  • Remove the existing faceplate by pulling on it until it detaches
  • Align the tabs on the new faceplate with the slots on the charging stand and press into place

Setting Up the Charging Stand

  • Install the rechargeable battery into the Xbox wireless controller
  • Check the labels on the battery cover and attach the correct version to the Xbox wireless controller
  • Connect the USB-C connector of the charge cable to the charging stand, and connect the other end to an available USB port on the Xbox
  • Place the wireless controller on the charging stand
  • Check the LED for status; the LED will light orange while charging and white when fully charged

NOTE: The charge level can be checked by using the Xbox on-screen display
